Shipping Coordinator

Provides clerical duties to support shipping and receiving functions. Schedule trucks for shipment to achieve customer required delivery dates and assign truck loading responsibilities to the shipping crew. Research and respond to Customer Service inquiries for shipment tracking, proof of delivery, freight charges, order expediting and carrier selection. Prepare Canadian and Export documentation. Coordinate, expedite and reconcile outstanding Canada/export shipments. Schedules common carriers and rail shipments. Audits all prepaid freight bills. Records truck rates and charges on all customer orders. Maintains freight rate information for intrastate/interstate shipments. Maintain shipment and bill of lading documented records. Disposition and reconcile freight bills ensuring their accuracy. Generate bills of lading for both domestic and export shipments. Interface with local carriers to schedule daily pickups.
Schedule
- Shift start: 7:30AM
- Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
- Days: Monday - Friday

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of shipping and receiving or supervisory experience.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
- Strong knowledge MS Office, and other software as required.
- Must be at least 18+ years old
- Must pass drug screen
- Must pass background check
- Can lift 25 lbs
