About the Mark Howley Podcast
The Mark Howley Podcast helps young professionals (25-35-year-olds) understand the realities of career and life. Many of my target audience are overwhelmed, almost frozen by the variety of opportunities and by misinformation on social media regarding the effort, hard work, and time it takes to find a path, or contentment in life.
My show explores the journeys of professionals from diverse fields, some driven by financial reward, others by the arts, recovery from addiction, and charitable efforts. Each episode features in-depth interviews in which I ask my guest about their career paths, the decisions they've made, the struggles they've faced, and how they have ultimately found contentment. I want to know, "How did you do it and why?"
To date, we have produced approximately 85-90 episodes, and we maintain an active social media campaign to engage our audience and attract new listeners.
Review all my social media, website, and other search results to learn more about the show and me before applying.
About Me
On the personal side, I have been married for 35 years, and we have five daughters, who are my top priority above all else. We live in Woodinville, WA.
Professionally, I have extensive experience as a business owner and entrepreneur. Over my career, I moved from a start in inside sales through all levels of sales responsibility. In 2000, I moved from Philadelphia to Seattle as the EVP Sales and eventually acquired the business from an investor. Buying the company required a combination of bank loans, mezzanine lenders, and equity partners. Over the next two decades, I became the majority owner and successfully sold the company in 2019. At the time of sale, the business had achieved revenues of about $40 million, having tripled both revenue and profit under my leadership.
I have also been sober for forty years, and recovery is a subject I address in the show via some guests and general discussion.
