We are looking to fill a number of openings (described below). Each position is entry-level and provides room for growth within the company. Most positions will train on 1st shift (6am – 2:30pm M-F) and will then move to 2nd (2pm – 10:30pm M-F) or 3rd shift (10pm – 6:30am S-Th).

RACKER/UNRACKER JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for preparing parts for the production process and assisting the operator as needed

• Determine priority of jobs to begin preparing for processing

• Select appropriate racking procedure according to size, shape and number of objects to be processed

• Wire or clip objects to rack or hoist for processing

• Remove parts from rack or bar after processing

• Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines

• Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed

• Maintain a clean working area at all times by disposing of any unnecessary trash or wires

• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly

SHOT PEEN OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure that the production process is carried out in a safe manner according to the goals set by the company and maximize throughput

• Operate machine to enhance surface of parts

• Determine usage of different machines according to customer requirements

• Anticipate and overcome production related problems, material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and unavoidable delays where possible and plan to reduce their impact on the operation

• Perform daily tests to determine size and shape of media

• Run test specimens and provide to customer as required

• Coordinate company projects and programs designed to support different initiatives

• Communicate with customer service on recovery dates and expected completion dates for processing

• Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines and submit maintenance requests for further maintenance work

• Perform other duties as assigned

MASKER JOB DESCRIPTION

Process parts according to shop work order and applicable specifications and drawings

• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks

• Ensure integrity of incoming parts (damage, scratches, etc.)

• Complete work order and all necessary paperwork according to job, drawings and specifications

• Manage hazardous materials safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations

• Perform other duties as required

PAINT ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

Paint helpers are responsible for preparing a variety of parts for painting.

• Assist the Painter in daily activities not involving actual spraying of paint

• Prepare parts by hand sanding and solvent cleaning

• Mix a variety of chromate and non-chromated primers and topcoats

• Lay parts out and maneuver for eased application of paint

• Complete work order and necessary paperwork during paint process

• Accurately process and document oven charts and temperatures

• Sweeping and cleaning the paint shop as necessary

• Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing while performing daily activities

• Manage hazardous materials safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations

• Setup and label cubic yard hazardous waste storage boxes

• Other duties as assigned

NDT LV 1 JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform nondestructive testing processing

• Shall be able to follow work instructions

• Shall have the skills and knowledge to process parts, document results and perform equipment standardization in accordance with approved work instructions.

• Shall have the skills and knowledge to carry out any necessary preparation of parts before or after inspection in accordance with approved work instructions.

• Shall have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard.

• Shall receive guidance or supervision from a certified Level 2 or Level 3 in the method when necessary.

• Shall when specified in the written practice and approved by the Responsible Level 3, may perform interpretations and evaluations of specific products or product forms for acceptance or rejection in accordance with approved work instructions.

PACKAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for packaging parts for shipment/transport.

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.

• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.

• Ensure that all documentation is kept with the materials.

• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.

• Seal containers or materials, using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.

• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.

• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.

• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks

• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)

• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly

• Perform other duties as assigned.
