  • Have the drive to get involved and collaborate with other teams
  • Have proven experience as a full stack developer
  • Have experience developing web and mobile applications
  • Have experience building MVC based web applications
  • Have experience in collaborating in UI design in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched applications
  • Have contributed to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Will bring that extra value that will make the startup a successful company

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for a technical co-founder who will take charge in the development of our software to grow our impact in 2020. The right candidate will have full-stack experience with both front-end user interfaces and back-end systems. This includes designing and building scalable software and have a great motivation to lead an awesome team that will drive change in the nonprofit industry. In this role the successful candidate will be considered to move into the role of Chief Technical Officer.

In this role you will:

  • Outline the company's technological vision
  • Implement technology strategies
  • Ensure that the technological resources are aligned with the company's business needs
  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
  • Manage and mentor NEDDIE’s dev team
  • Be involved in the growth of the dev team
  • Along with other department leads, be part of the research and development of tools, app requests, trends and data analysis
  • Lead different projects, such as but not limited to; the design client-side and server-side architecture, building the front-end of applications through appealing visual design, developing and managing well-functioning databases and applications, testing software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency and building features and applications with a mobile responsive design
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
