Facilities Coordinator Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and operations of the corporate offices of the Company.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs and/or supervises the upkeep of the building and surrounding facilities property.

Oversees conduct of all facilities vendors performing facilities/landscape related activities.

Interfaces with management to comply with Security, Cleaning, and Maintenance functions.

Oversees cleaning personnel/vendors to ensure the professional character of buildings/offices, clean and highly maintained at all times.

Performs routine inspection of office areas, parking areas, security equipment, mechanical spaces, dumpster location, landscaping and rooftop areas.

Performs preventive maintenance tasks on facilities support equipment.

Oversees any outside contractor/vendor performing tasks on the property or in the building.

Assists department managers with daily requirements or needs as requested.

Effectively trains, coaches, and leads facilities team.

Handles routine inquiries for maintenance requests and prioritizing requests.

Reviews, follows and performs checklist actions for all equipment in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs.

Assists with procurement of equipment and materials related to facilities and order miscellaneous maintenance-related materials for inventory, as needed.

Works closely with the Facilities Manager on any immediate security or safety concerns.

Responds/manages building/office emergencies - fire drills, power outages, weather-related hazards or alerts, liquid spills, plumbing issues or incident clean up.

Performs other related facilities duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Three or more years experience with facilities management ¬

Experience developing and managing budgets or creating department financial plans

Ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously, coordinate necessary workflow; update and chase delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines¬

Advanced knowledge of building maintenance, construction, renovation practices and methods, building codes and regulations¬

Knowledge of building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, IT/AV systems¬¬

Knowledge of current federal, state and local law and regulations in construction/facilities management, safety and operations¬¬

Knowledge of local/state building codes, health, and safety requirements¬¬

Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record¬¬

Demonstrated track record of facilities management and project management skills

High degree of problem-solving and decision-making ability¬¬

A self-starter who can work independently with little or no supervision¬¬

Weekend and evening hours may be required¬

Some travel may be required (Los Angeles, San Jose, New York, Miami)

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and facilities related software, including programs for Project Management & CAD software¬

ªEffective written and oral communication skills with ability to compose routine correspondence¬¬¬

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

$45,000 - $47,500/year
