Our goal is to provide quality holistic care to our clients; through facilitating the bodys natural ability to heal using various massage therapy techniques and incorporating natural organic products that work with the body. We have been providing a safe healing environment for 13 years.

Position Objective:

The Medical Biller/Front Desk Co-Ordinator is the point of contact for all client contact, and provides support to the massage therapist. This is a full-time position.

Primary duties include:

1. Reception

A. Open the office each day at 8:30 a.m. and close it at 5:30 p.m.

B. Staff the front-desk, operating as the face of the organization. Warmly greet callers, walk-in guests and customers. Assess their needs and direct them appropriately.

C. Schedule appointments and maintain the online schedule system.

D. Take clients payments and record as specified.

E. Oversee the reception area, waiting area, and assist in the laundry duties.

2. Medical Billing

A. Verify medical coverage for massage therapy with insurance companies.

B. Pre-Authorize Massage visits

C. Maintain up to date insurance and prescription information in clients folders.

D. Submit electronic and paper billing for; medical, auto and worker compensation claims including any required documentation as specified.

E. Record and track payments from insurance companies, complete any necessary follow up when claims are not paid.

F. Invoice clients for unpaid insurance claims.

G. Balance credit card transaction, checks and cash record as specified.

3. Office coordination

A. Equipment “ Oversee office equipment and technology, including phones, computers, copiers and printers.

B. Ensuring clients have valid documentation and coverage for massage treatment.

C. Supplies & Errands “ Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate office supply purchases. Run errands for supplies and other purposes as requested.

D. Facilitate the maintenance and upkeep of common areas, including the kitchen, bathroom, storage room, office supply areas and laundry maintenance.

Position Requirements:

Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and implement projects.

Professional and customer service oriented.

Comfortable interacting with a diverse clientele.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate proficiency in telephone skills.

Ability to multi-task and adapt well in a deadline critical environment.

Ability to respond to, and take direction, from various staff effectively and efficiently.

Ability to consistently work 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint)

Familiarity with website content manager software is desired, but not required.

Knowledge of Medical Billing, pre-authorization and checking on insurance benefits

2+ years reception, customer service or administrative experience preferred.

Valid Washington State drivers license

Salary Range:

26,000-$30,000 DOE, based on a full-time, 40 hour workweek
