Job Title: Land Development Coordinator
Position Overview: The Land Development Coordinator will act as the primary liaison between leadership and the consulting department. This role will facilitate seamless communication and efficient management of land development transactions including but not limited to: vetting deals, coordinating project assignments, managing external referrals, and maintaining comprehensive records within SharePoint and the CRM system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative, technological, and organizational skills. Preferably with some land development, engineering, construction, urban planning, or permitting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact between leadership and consulting department regarding all land development transactions.
During respective meetings, will route deals directly and assign transactions to project managers based on project needs and consultant expertise during the Land Use Recap meeting.
Compile profit forecasting for bimonthly meetings and create the required forms in cooperation with our bookkeeper.
Monitor and organize the consulting inbox, creating and maintaining an efficient inbox format. Cross-referencing and audit all documents sent to the consulting inbox overnight and organize them into the proper file in SharePoint before daily meetings begin.
Conduct initial project vetting.
Coordinate the assignment of external referrals to appropriate partners and vendors while managing and maintaining our client and vendor list within SharePoint.
Facilitate and run our Monday morning Land Use meetings, ensuring all relevant topics are covered and action items are tracked including the weekly executive summary of transactions
Overseeing the routing of all deals directly and assign transactions to project managers based on project needs and consultant expertise during the same day collaborative meeting.
Oversee all aspects of SharePoint management (project page creation, trackers, forms, database, clients/leads) including creating and managing project pages in SharePoint, compensation forms (green sheets) ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards within the relative departmental scope.
Audit SharePoint files and enforce accountability for project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and projects progress smoothly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word (preferably SharePoint).
Effective email management skills using Outlook.
General knowledge of land development, construction, urban planning, or permitting processes.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Project management experience, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and their application in land development.
Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze relevant information.
Superior customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
Basic legal knowledge of real estate and contract law.
Must be comfortable working on deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of administrative experience in a related field or a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., Urban Planning, Real Estate, Construction Management).
Adaptability to handle unexpected changes and challenges.
Experience with data entry and database management.
Compensation:
Hourly: $27-$32 per hour
