We are looking for retail sales associates who are passionate, hard working, love design, and are looking for a long term position with us as we grow as a company.

Our upscale concept shop offers world-class customer service that is delivered in an intelligent,

friendly and casual manner.

Our store is intimate with a varied clientele. Every day is a good mix of friends, neighborhood locals,

as well as new and old clients.

Everyone wears more than a few hats and knows how to adapt to any client, new or old.

Having a chic sense of personal style and an instinct for design is a plus.

We are looking to fill 1-2 Part Time positions and would ideally be able to swap days between

employees and create a flexible schedule to make everyone happy.

Additional hours will occasionally be needed to cover owner or other staff member travel.

Weekends are required.

Store hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10-6, Sundays 11-4, closed Mondays.

At this time we are looking to cover Thursday through Sunday with an occasional

Tuesday and Wednesday to cover owner or other staff absence.

Compensation: $15-$17 per hour DOE + commission (1.5% total monthly store sales) after 90 days.

Job Description

Sales and Customer Service:

Give a friendly greeting and determine the needs of every person

that walks through the door.

Learn our product lines inside and out and be able to tell the story behind them.

Be comfortable chatting with people youve never met in a relaxed and friendly manner.

¨¨Merchandising and Maintenance:

Keep the floor stocked. Make sure to restock items after each sale.

Continue to think of new ways to merchandise our collections in shop and keep

the appearance of the store fresh.

Maintain a clean and well-organized stock area.

Maintain a clean and well-organized sales floor.

Operations:

Come to work on time and let us know well in advance if you are feeling unwell.

Know that in a small business with a small staff your attendance affects everyone.

Showing up for your shifts is paramount in importance.

Complete transactions and check inventory on our simple POS system.

Ship out special customer orders and online orders.

Receive product shipments and manage inventory.

Maintain organized records for special requests

Assist in maintaining and updating website, marketing materials, etc.

Take out trash and recycling

Manage and maintain entire store independently when needed

Open and Close store

Physical Requirements:

Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours.

Ability to walk up and down staircase or ramp, carrying boxes, products, etc.

Ability to regularly perform store maintenance and cleaning.

Ability to safely lift boxes up to 40 lbs.¨

Comfortable climbing ladders.

Must love dogs - we have a shop dog and many dogs come in with their owners

Qualifications:

An excellent but not pushy salesperson, able to deliver exceptional customer service. ¨

Previous retail or customer service experience is a must.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Self-motivated and able to effectively work both as a team and alone.
