A contemporary art gallery located in Pioneer Square is looking for an experienced and accomplished sales professionals for a part time position. You will be responsible for writing, designing, and developing materials for publication online and in print, meeting sales targets, daily gallery activities including cleaning, packaging, installing artwork, installing lighting, and installing exhibitions, and maintaining client relationships
Requirements
- Provide excellent customer service
- Proven aptitude for marketing, sales and/or promotions
- Interest in a career dedicated to the exciting challenges of the art business
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, self manage and self motivate
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Tidy appearance, friendly personality, and a professional demeanor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe In Design, etc
- Degree level education or 3 years relevant experience in a related environment is desirable
- Commercial gallery sales or luxury sales experience, preferred
- Background in art history, preferred
- Positive attitude and go getting personality are what will make the difference
