JOB DESCRIPTION:
Farmers Insurance - Ephrata Amera Agency is seeking an ambitious and career-oriented full-time Insurance agent to help support a growing agency. The insurance team member is responsible for the promotion of new insurance sales including auto, home / renters / condo, business, and life insurance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check
Must be licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance licenses
Be willing to obtain Life & Disability Insurance licenses
Experience with computer applications with ability to adapt to a variety of new technological systems
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
People-oriented with exceptional customer service and sales skills
Self-starter who works well independently or with limited supervision
Effective time management, organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work with diverse clients in a respectful manner
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
Previous Insurance or financial services experience is a plus
Bilingual skills are also a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate, quote, and close sales leads
Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
Solicit new business sales via telephone, at networking events, other lead sources
Help protect customers by offering Farmers products that will meet their needs
Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews and update coverage
Foster positive customer experiences and establish relationship for follow-ups to ensure satisfaction
Identify and contact non-realty lead sources to assess, recommend and secure appropriate insurance coverage
Foster and maintain professional networking relationships with clients
Other tasks as assigned
