Downtown Seattle client continues to be a leader in growth in Seattle, continuing to build out new products and services for their national customer base. We are looking for a Software Development Manager who is a hands on leader, both technically as well as having the ability to lead small teams. Ideally, you've worked building massively scalable systems in a hands on role (Senior Dev or Technical Lead in the recent past) and are currently or looking to lead a small team building out some awesome services.
Some of the areas you will work on include:
⢠Lead the architecture and implementation of web services and front end apps
⢠Love tackling complex problems and are comfortable working across the full stack
⢠Develop great user experiences on both web and mobile.
⢠Encourage your small team to build rock solid code, that is efficient and ships code frequently
⢠Iterate quickly and ship code frequently.
⢠Working in a tight knit team and being comfortable taking ownership
Some of our technology includes:
⢠JavaScript and modern front end frameworks, including React and Redux plus native apps on the front-end
⢠Java, Python, and Node.js along with NoSQL and SQL technologies
Requirements for the role:
⢠Minimum of 5+ years' experience as a software engineer, working in a fast pace environment, coding with Java, C#, JavaScript or Python.
⢠As an SDM, we'd like to see 2+ years, either as an SDM over a small team or a Technical Lead, preferably someone who has consumer facing experience with the latest JS frameworks.
⢠Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
