Washington Schools Risk Management Pool (WSRMP) is a non-profit, cooperative self-insurance program for over 90 school districts and educational service districts throughout Washington State. WSRMP is affiliated with Puget Sound ESD (PSESD) which provides Human Resources services to WSRMP . The Washington Schools Risk Management Pool seeks an Information Systems Consultant. Duties will include providing 1st level technical support to staff for technology questions and issues, assist with generating reports from our Origami Risk database or from other data sources, and assist with a variety of projects, as needed. The position will also be responsible for routing calls and emails from internal and external parties to the appropriate employee or department.
PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts and state approved charter and private schools in Washington. Serving over 39% of Washington’s K-12 public school students, our agency provides critical services designed to ensure that our students are ready to enter school, achieve at high levels in the K-12 system, and succeed in postsecondary endeavors. Minimum Qualifications
AA/AAS degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field (High School/GED and progressively responsible work-related experience may substitute for AA/AAS degree) 3 years providing database, help desk end user support, and/or business application technical customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting operating systems, databases, or business applications (For example, Microsoft Office 365 administration and support, Adobe or other business application support, Microsoft Windows 10 end user support, and/or providing technical support for local or hosted databases).
Experience with data analysis and creating custom queries to generate reports from a database.
One or more of the following industry certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), or Microsoft MCP, Microsoft MTA, ICCP Certified Data Professional (CDP)
