I am looking for an experienced dog groomer to work 2-5 days a week. Part time to start. Then working more or less depending on what you want your schedule to be. I can be flexible with the right person. Someone who can groom 5-7 dogs a day. I own a small, private, owner operated shop and have been in business for 35+ years. Some of our clients are on their third dog with me. I would like to find someone who has experience in grooming all breeds of dogs. I would like to hire someone who plans to make grooming a career choice and plans to be interested in building a clientele of their own.
+Job description: Groom and bathe all breeds of dogs to the shop owners and clients specifications. Work 2-5 days a week between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. Hours and days are flexible. We are currently open Tuesday through Saturday. General cleaning including kennels, floors and work space. I would like someone who wants a permanent position so they can get to know the clients. Wage will be determined by level of skills and experience.
Experience: I am looking for a finished groomer, preferably with 2 or more years of experience. Must have your own tools.
Other requirements: Must be reliable, punctual and motivated. Must be detail oriented, patient and responsible. Must have a positive attitude, be friendly and outgoing, and be able to provide excellent customer service. Must be able to follow instructions, pay attention to detail and complete tasks thoroughly. Must communicate effectively and be able to work closely with the owner of the shop to provide the best possible grooming for the clients.
