Our small company is looking to add one member to our long-standing group of technicians. We get to work in some of the nicest homes around Seattle and often travel for customers who have multiple homes.
Experience with installing a media room of your own, configuring network equipment, terminating cables, and/or configuring smart home devices is a major plus. You will also need to demonstrate good craftsmanship with your hands using hand tools, drills, and saws as well as using precision measurement tools such as levels and a tape measure.
What you’d be doing:
-Working on residential projects during construction pulling wire, settings speakers, drilling holes and finishing installations while working under one of our lead technicians.
-Installing TV’s, speakers, shades, etc in 2, 5, even 50 million dollar finished homes - NO room for mistakes, NO room for even a thought of theft - some jobs even require non-disclosure agreements to be signed before you are allowed on site.
-After 2 years you can take your journeyman test and can lead two apprentices of your own
-If you get good at installs, running projects, and configuring/programming some of our systems you can make very good money
-If you have the ability to manage the installation of these projects as a field manager by coordinating parts, labor, schedule requirements there are opportunities to double your hourly rate based on an incentive structure.

-Low-voltage wiring of phone, network, and TV
-Home automation systems - Crestron, Savant, Control4
-House Audio systems - Sonos, Russound, etc
-Media or TV rooms - TV's, receivers, speakers, etc.
-Movie theaters - Full size, home theater installation
-Networking and Wi-fi - Cisco, Pakedge, Ruckus, Araknis, etc
-Lighting systems - Lutron, Vantage, etc
-Shading/window treatment installation - Lutron, Mechoshade, Somfy, etc
-Security system install - Elk, GE, Honeywell, etc
-Surveillance or CCTV systems
-Access Controls
