Ridgecrest Cabinetry is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our large Pacific NW custom cabinet company. This position will work directly with our Warranty and Account Management team, providing field work at job sites around the Tacoma area. Applicant must be reliable and be able to work fully independently at job sites with minor or no supervision.

This will be a remote position, our headquarters is located in Ridgefield, WA travel to our headquarters will be intermittently necessary, as the work that needs to be performed is centered in the Tacoma market.

Position Summary:

Our technicians perform a variety of tasks in the efforts of completing a cabinetry job in a new construction home. Base shoe, trim, minor cabinetry install, hardware, etc. Essential finish work after the installation of cabinetry and flooring/other trades so that the home is beautifully ready for the new homeowners, with some trouble shooting and problem solving to get to that end product.

Work will include but is not limited to:

• Repair and touch up of cabinetry

• Adjustment of doors, drawer fronts, and doors

• Installation and adjustment of cabinet hardware -- this includes pulls and knobs, but also complicated pantry pull outs, lazy susans, etc.

• Full installation of some small cabinet jobs as needed

• Installation of moldings -- crown, base shoe, scribe, etc.

• Sink cutouts

• Vent box installation

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

• Comply with ALL safety rules and regulations, Company and Customer policies.

• Have own reliable transportation, with the ability to transport tools necessary, daily.

• Must be 18+ years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds regularly, move arms above head, walk on unstable ground.

• Must be physically fit enough to work in a new residential construction site.

• Have tools or knowledge and experience safety using power and hand tools.

• Must be dependable, punctual and possess the ability to get along well with other trades, supervisor and customers.
