As a Commercial Service Technician you will be responsible for all aspects of tire and related service and repair for the commercial tires. - Dismount and mount any type of tire. - Remove tires for retreading or repair. - Clean and maintain service equipment. - Properly fill out paper work. - Proper maintenance of assigned service vehicle. The qualified individual must be willing and able to drive a service vehicle to where a customer is having a problem, and be able to repair or replace their tire(s) as needed. This would included Customers Location, highway and Freeways. This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected. Excellent safety and attendance performance is expected. Requirements: Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner. Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision Must possess a mechanical aptitude. Must be willing to perform service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis. High School Diploma or GED preferred. At least 6 months of tire related service, But willing to train the right candidate. Good oral and written communication ability. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record. Several positions available, located in Tacoma and Seattle. We offer Medical and Dental Insurance, plus 401k. Management Positions:
A minimum of 3 years' management experience in the Commercial Tire business or in a related transportation industry is required. You will be responsible for the location's profitability, employees, inventory, national billing, service scheduling and all daily aspects of running a sales and service location.
