JOBSITE FOREMAN - SITE LOGISTICS
Downtown Seattle
RESPONSIBILITIES
Foremen is capable of organizing, supervising and running delivery operations for the construction project site. Applicants must have high level of related organizational and supervisory skills on traffic control.
This position will oversee the work on the job site, maintain work schedules and communicate progress to their Superintendent. This role will be the under the supervision of the Superintendent and oversee the execution of work on the job-site. A successful candidate will possess leadership skills, be highly organized and demonstrate solid oral and written communication skills.
DUTIES
⢠Identify and Comprehend our specific scope of work and make a plan
⢠be in total control of site entry access, both onsite and offsite logistics, traffic control plan,
⢠liaison with trades on all incoming delivery and staging activities.
⢠Be knowledgeable of all City of Seattle, Seattle Department of Transport, and all local jurisdictional procedures.
⢠Prepare tools and materials to execute the plan
⢠Communicate the plan to the crew with clear directions
⢠Take Responsibility for safety, quality and production
NECESSARY SKILLS
⢠High school diploma
⢠Experience in high-rise residential/mixed use construction
⢠Must have the ability to read and write in the English language, possessing a secondary language such as Spanish will be an asset.
⢠Excellent customer service skills
⢠Ability to coordinate several simultaneous tasks while maintaining a positive attitude and flexible work style
⢠Must be punctual, reliable, with an excellent work ethic
⢠Valid ticket to operate forklift is a must.
