Looking for Experienced Mechanic / Lead Technician. Must have at least 3 years experience working at a garage, dealership or similar, experience with European cars preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, replacing filters.

- Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to customer complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.

- Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs.

- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of this job, including heavy work with exposure to inclement weather conditions for prolonged periods of time.

- Must be able to wear and use appropriate protective equipment, as necessary.

- Cooperate with supervisor to implement policies governing vehicle maintenance.

- Assist in purchasing of repair parts/supplies, and the maintenance of necessary catalogs/records.

- Assist in the supervision and operation of the garage, as directed.

Qualifications:

- At least 3 years experience as a technician. All technicians are expected to have a full set of tools.

- High School graduation required, and Technical School graduation (preferred).

- Knowledge of all vehicle types (experience with VW air-cooled, Porsche and diesel preferred).

- Experience using Shop Management software, Quickbooks, Google (Calendar, Docs, etc), and/or Inventory Management software.

- Some supervisory experience preferred.
