The successful candidate should have extensive experience in managing a large, high-volume service operation in the automotive industry. Prior experience in the Audi brand or the Volkswagen auto group is preferred. The Audi Service Manager will work closely with the Audi Service Director and the rest of the Audi Service team.

Responsibilities:

Manage, measure and evaluate all aspects of the University Audi Lynnwood service operations.

Provide coaching and training to all customer contact positions with the goal of increased CSI performance and overall customer satisfaction.

Formulate, establish and lead the implementation of new processes and procedures within the service department including: training and development of staff, resolving issues as they arise, periodic evaluations and adjustments in processes.

Manage the daily activities of University Audi Lynnwood service department staff including: process discipline, scheduling, performance reviews, payroll, discharges, company policies and keeping senior management informed of all actions.

Take responsibility for University Audi Lynnwood technician development in consultation with the Audi Service Foreman; including training opportunities, discipline and performance issues, and daily direction as required to maximize technician efficiency.

Working with the other internal departments as appropriate to recruit, retain and develop University Audi Lynnwood service department staff.

Responsible for managing client expectations and customer experience at the front counter including writing Repair Orders and assisting with service consultant workload.

Responsible for assisting VIP clients as well as clients with known issues and resolving concerns in real time.

Directed to audit repair orders to validate that management directives are being followed. Takes appropriate corrective action.

Ensures the profitability of the University Audi Lynnwood service operation through measuring and evaluating performance compared to goals and implementing appropriate actions.

Requirements:

5 years of prior experience in an automotive service environment with a minimum of 2 years as a supervisor or manager of a large automotive service operation.

Demonstrated history of managing a successful and diverse team of working professionals.

Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful and coachable.

Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.

Proficiency in teaching and demonstrating customer relationship management skills.

Strong work ethic and leadership skills

Possess a valid in-state driver license.
