The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is hiring skilled Carpenters to help maintain and improve affordable housing across Seattle. If you’re ready to use your craft to support your community, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
Build and repair doors, floors, roofs, walls, stairs, cabinets, trim, and concrete forms
Fix hardware, weather stripping, fences, and foundations
Safely work on ladders and swing stages
Handle emergency repairs and keep materials stocked
Set up scaffolding (training provided)
Attend safety meetings and follow all safety protocols
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent
Journey-level carpenter experience or equivalent
Valid WA State Driver’s License
