Position Description:

We are seeking a passionate Customer Service Returns Associate who will:

Demonstrate exemplary internal and external customer service skills in every interaction.

Ensure timely processing of returned packages, reworks and exchanges; including receiving, unpacking and tracking all returned merchandise.

Assess paperwork sent in with return instructions and follow proper return, rework and exchange procedures.

Input clear and detailed customer account notes using internal computer systems, communicating return reasons, customer feedback and instructions to ensure accurate processing.

Distribute returned items to their proper location considering all factors including the value of the product, its condition and type of return.

Act as a customer advocate by researching and resolving complex customer concerns by utilizing technical and department resources.

Demonstrate flexibility to perform a variety of customer service job functions based on business needs.

Effectively communicate with customers via email, phone and live chat.

Be passionate about proactively resolving customer issues using empathy and conflict resolution skills.

Utilize effective time management and prioritization skills.

Identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives.

Possess a happy, positive, can-do attitude with no ego and open to learning or doing anything thats needed.

Enjoy working with your hands! We are big on cross-training here and having hands-on experience with our jewelry gives you the ability to help customers better.

Skills & Knowledge:

Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative, fluid start-up environment with flexibility, professionalism, courtesy and tact and above all an urgency to create an excellent customer experience.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficient computer skills with familiarity using multiple browsers, multiple tabs, window navigation and social media tools.

Ability to work independently and maintain productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.

Experience using Excel and Google Sheets.

Strong attention to detail and excellence with follow-up.

Ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks.

Typing: 45+ wpm

Must love music, binge watching The Office or Parks and Rec, and dogs (all together, or separate and not in that order.)

Qualifications:

2+ years of previous Customer Service experience.

Strong computer skills (ex. Microsoft Office, G Suite, PowerPoint, Slack).

Knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Order Management operating procedures and protocol.

Prior experience in a distribution or other inventory handling environment preferred.

Previous management experience preferred.
