Blue Water Behavioral Consulting, LLC is looking for Registered Behavior Technicians/ABA Therapists to provide home-based and/or school-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy to a small caseload of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in Oak Harbor, WA. Part-time hours available immediately with the opporuntity to transition into full-time contingent upon performance. Additionally, for the 2019-2020 school year, we are seeking a full-time technician to accompany a high-functioning 3rd grader to his private school full-time (8:30 AM - 3:00 PM) Monday through Friday and provide the student with behavioral support and skills training as needed throughout the school day.

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field. Applicants currently enrolled in an accredited college/university who are actively pursuing a degree in one of the aforementioned areas will also be strongly considered.

- Passion for working with children and adolescents

- Passion for helping individuals with special needs reach their full potential

- Strong organizational skills

- Ability to work independently

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Valid Driver's License, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation

- Absence of any criminal history (per a 10-year federal, state, and county background check)

Preferred Qualifications:

- 1+ years experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities

- 1+ years experience working with typically developing children

- Completion of college coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

- 1+ years experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy

- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

- Certified Behavior Technician license through WA Dept of Health

- CPR Certification
