The Cascades Job Corps College and Career Academy is located in Sedro-Woolley and provides training for young adults in Health Care and Information Technology Pathways. We partner with Sedro-Woolley Public Schools, the Northwest Career & Technical Academy and Skagit Valley College to provide Career and Technical Education which provide students with college credits, certifications and credentials. Classes run year-round.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for coordinating the classes and programming within the Evening Studies program. Oversees academic programming as well as Evening Studies Instructors during Evening Studies and conducts the College Readiness and Remediation classes leading to successful college enrollment. Ensures appropriate staffing is provided in areas where Evening Studies activities are held. Oversees the Academy's tutoring program and computer labs. Schedules guest speakers and community presenters for evening programming. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school required. A minimum of one year experience in teaching or related field required. Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state in which the center is located, or is accredited by a professional trade organization. Previous Job Corps experience preferred.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
