The National Guard plays a vital role in responding to natural disasters within our communities like the Oso landslide and Hurricane Harvey. All Guardsmen have full time jobs or attend college separately while using the National Guard to supplement their goals and lifestyle.
Today's employers are looking for workers who are already trained in a field and expect them to have specialized skills before they even think of hiring them. In the Washington Army National Guard, we will train you in one out of hundreds of job fields that employers are looking for such as IT, administration, intelligence, aviation, culinary, transportation, mechanics, plumbing, construction, communications, food service, and many more. The job you choose is what you will train in. Want to break out of the norm? We also have positions for cavalry scouts, infantrymen, combat engineers, and field artillery! Most places will charge you to learn a new skill, but in the National Guard we will pay you full time while you train. Benefits:
- $20,000 bonus offered for select positions (must score minimum 50 out of 99 on the ASVAB test)

Basic Qualifications:
- Age 17 34
- Green card (i551) holder and US citizens are eligible to join
- Prior service, call me to check the age limit for you
- Good moral character (call for details if you have a record)
- Good physical health
