Majestic Inn and Spa is a Historic Full Service Boutique Hotel located in Anacortes, WA. We are seeking a Sales Manager with Hospitality Experience. The ideal candidate has experience selling and executing all types of events (Weddings, Retreats, Anniversaries, Training Sessions, etc.) ranging in size from 12 to 200 guests. This position requires negotiating guest room group blocks and corporate rates for local businesses. The Sales Manager oversees the duties of the Event Coordinator and works closely with the Executive Chef, Restaurant Manager, and General Manager to ensure events and group blocks are executed flawlessly to exceed guest expectations. Detailed BEOs and Timelines are created within our key systems (Caterease and RoomMaster).
The Majestic conducts between 25-30 weddings and 50-75 other events annually utilizing our many event spaces (i.e. elegant Ballroom, expansive Rooftop Deck, outdoor Courtyard, Boardroom, and Dining Room). The product and service is in place for an experienced Sales Manager to sell both locally and regionally. This position involves occasional travel for outside sales and community relations.
There is a generous compensation for the SM position, including a base pay and bonus/commission program that are tied to achieving sales and expense goals. This position requires an ambitious and self motivated individual with outstanding verbal and written communication.
