The Composites Technician role will consist of many different applications. A composite technician works with composite materials such as Kevlar, fiberglass, and graphite, to create parts to meet specifications and repair damaged items. You might work in production with responsibilities like fabricating parts in composite materials or you may use your knowledge of manufacturing and engineering to fix anything from a skateboard to an airplane. Other duties are lifting heavy objects and operating machinery. This role will be based in Anacortes Washington but involves consistent travel to all parts of the United States and various parts of the world.

Here is a glimpse of what youll do¦
Composites finishing (Sanding, buffing, etc.)
Infusion of various materials
Development off ply layup schedules
Inventory Management
Report practical recommendations to ensure efficiency
Identifies project supply and equipment needs and conveys to the appropriate resource to ensure availability
Communicates with other technicians and management to assist with equipment installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
Here is some of what youll need (required)¦
5 year of composites experience
Knowledge of equipment
Ability to obtain passport
Desire to travel
Pass background and criminal check
