Position: Investment and Partnership Associate/Marketing Assistant
Location: Whidbey Island
Part time: 40hr/week, Flexible Scheduling
Hourly Wage: $21.05 – $24.21 per hour DOE
Position Summary
The Investment and Partnership Associate will serve as a spokesperson and ambassador for Sherwood. This position will serve duel purposes for Sherwood: as a spokesperson and ambassador for Sherwood on Whidbey Island and as a marketing assistant, both under the direction of the Investment & Partnership Director. The primary responsibilities of this role include developing and building community relationships with current and perspective investors and assisting with marketing initiatives. This highly visible position puts you face to face with a variety of businesses, community leaders, supporters and volunteers who are current or prospective partners. This is a position of significant responsibility that requires a high level of interpersonal and collaborative skills, the ability to cultivate relationships and think outside the box; clearly communicating the needs of the organization, as well as ask for specific and bold investments from partners. 20 hours a week will be spent helping increase awareness on Whidbey Island and 20 hours will be spent helping our marketing specialist.
Qualifications

The position requires a high level of confidence, empathy, verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently. This position does not require previous non-profit fund-raising experience. All appropriate training and support will be provided.
