Rubicon Homes is now interviewing and hiring for another Experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. Position is open and ready for the right person.
Required job duties for this position:
- Good Communication skills.
- Able to work with Site Sups.
- Able to be on time for work.
- Min 5 year on job site experience running equipment.
- Experience in Foundation dig outs.
- Back-filling around foundation.
- Installation of footing drains, storm pipe and sewer line / public utilities.
- Material Take - off's.
- Calling in for req. inspections.
- Ordering materials and trucking.
- Setting up Equipment Move-in and Move-out.
- Final site grading for final landscape prep.
- Septic install experience will be helpful.
- Keeping job schedules on track.
- Understanding all required L&I safety item for this type of work.
- Able to Lift 50 LB.
- Must have a current Drivers license and insurance.
- Must be able to be put on Company Insurance to drive Company Trucks.
Additional skill wanted/Needed:
- Working with computers and Online scheduling software.
- Working in the "City Right of Ways" and connections in the street. Working off Civil Engineering sheets.
- Asphalt patching.
- Experience with "Site development" Helpful.
Must be willing to work in the ditch at times, along with running equipment and working with The Project Managers on job schedules and dead lines.
In general we're looking for a well-rounded / multi-skilled individual to join our team. We are a full General Contractor/ House Builder that does multiple phases of the project in house. We are moving in to doing our own Land developments and we are looking for someone to help with that end of our Company. The more skilled you are in all phases of the construction of new houses and Developments, the more helpful it will be.
Equipment to be ran: Mini excavators (TB-145 11K Mini/TB-260 13K mini), TB-290 20K Excavator, EX-150 35K Excavator, Skid-steer Bobcat and other equipment need for the jobs.
Other required items: current drivers license with insurance, clean driving record to drive company truck to pull trailer and haul Mini Excavator. A CDL would be helpful but not required. Reliable transportation to and from jobs. Job references upon request.
Pay is: DOE and abilities. Long term employees are eligible for company incentives and bonuses.
