CIVIL ENGINEER, EIT – Newport, Washington
James A. Sewell and Associates, LLC is currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer in Training to support our Newport, Washington office.
JAS is an established Structural/Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm with offices in Newport and Spokane, Washington and Sandpoint, Idaho. JAS has been providing quality services in Eastern Washington and North Idaho for over 100 years. JAS provides civil and structural engineering, land surveying, land use planning, building inspection, construction inspection and materials testing for all types of projects. Our Newport office is in need of a Civil Engineer in Training to perform construction inspection, and engineering design duties. The candidate shall be comfortable working with clients and team members on diverse civil and structural infrastructure projects, including but not limited to:
Potable water systems;
Sewer systems;
Stormwater systems;
Building structures, and other miscellaneous structures.
JAS offers competitive wages and full benefits. Wage range is $30-$32 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience. Fulltime benefit package includes:

Desired qualifications include:
Bachelors of Science Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited college is required;
Engineer In Training Certificate is required;
Civil Engineering experience is preferred;
Construction knowledge preferred;

Ability to work as part of a team.
