Description We are in the search for a meticulous Staff Accountant to be a part of our dynamic team. The role is based in Spokane, Washington and requires the incumbent to be on-site. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, thus providing a chance to further grow within the organization. As a Staff Accountant, you will be mainly responsible for handling billing and invoicing, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing bank reconciliations.Responsibilities: Accurately manage all billing and invoicing processes. Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate payments. Conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure financial accuracy. Utilize accounting software, such as Sage Business Works, to maintain financial records and reports. Handle month-end close procedures, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions to encourage timely debt payments. Manage customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records. Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and credit applications. Use various accounting tools and software, including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP, to streamline accounting processes. This role requires proficiency in multiple accounting software and tools and the ability to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
