THIS POSITION: Conducts court ordered investigations involving offenders who have been found by the Court to have committed criminal acts and makes recommendations to the Court as to appropriate dispositions and sentences for adjudicated juvenile offenders. The position also monitors a caseload of minimum-supervision cases.

$20.10 per hour

DO YOU QUALIFY?

Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences, Criminal Justice or related field and 2 years related experience?

Can you meet juvenile probation POST requirements prior to the start of employment? You must be able to be POST certified within 12 months of hire.

Do you have the ability to interpret and evaluate psychological and psychiatric evaluations, psycho-sexual evaluations and drug and alcohol evaluations?

Do you possess or have the ability to possess a driver’s license and be insurable?

Do you have reliable transportation?

Do you possess or have the ability to possess a valid First Aid card and CPR Certification?

Are you proficient in the use of urine screening devices and Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) devices?

Do you enjoy working with offenders, parents and the courts in order to have a positive outcome?
