We specialize in high functioning independent DD younger female clients. They need extremely minimal help with ADLs, mainly supervision and reminders. Occasionally assistance with washing hair/ bathing etc.
These residents are very loving and fun but do have some behaviors such as attention seeking etc. I am looking for someone that is outgoing and fun and that has experience in dealing with behaviors. Must be warm and inviting to residents, however, have good boundaries and remain professional at all times.
Available shifts:
Monday - Thursday 4 PM to 9 AM
Friday 4PM - Monday 9AM
Fully furnished caregivers quarters/bedroom and shower to be utilized during shift.
The duties are
The morning hours mostly consist of:
waking residents up
administration of medication
making sure that they pack appropriate lunches
oversee breakfast(they make their own aside from minimal assistance but this might change if we intake a resident with higher needs)
rotating laundry
assist with making beds/reminders
Etc.
The evening hours mostly consist of:
Promptly starting dinner (dinner is very easy to prepare)
Loading dishwasher and putting all dishes away from breakfast and dinner
Wipe down counters/surfaces
Floors
Grocery shopping is done every two weeks and so groceries will need to be put away and organized in pantry and refrigerator and refrigerator wiped down (right now it's every other Friday)
Wiping down both bathrooms
Etc.
NEEDED:
DDA certificate
Mental Health certificate
Nurse delegation with focus on diabetes
Blood-borne pathogen training
HCAC/ CNA/ NAR
CPR/first aid
Food handlers permit
TB test 2 step or Blood Test
Clean background
