At Legacy Gardens of Spokane Adult Family Home, we provide a loving and nurturing family environment for all of our residents and staff. Our goal is to make residents feel at home and reduce their stress, so their family members can get back to enjoying their frequent visits with their loved ones, and have more free time without having to worry about whether or not their loved one is happy and being well taken care of.
We have 5 residents, with 2 caregivers on staff daily from 6am- 9pm, and one caregiver from 9pm to 6am. With two caregivers present during your 6am - 3pm shift, it makes for smooth mornings while getting residents out of bed and ready for their day. We have fun activities spread throughout the week, and many visitors who come to see their loved ones during the daytime hours.
Our current caregivers have been part of our care team anywhere from 1 - 4 years, so dealing with no shows, or people arriving late for their shift is NOT something you will need to worry about anymore! You will have quality training by the owner, so you will fully understand all the residents preferred daily routines.

Our home has a gourmet kitchen with double ovens and double dishwashers, and our latest renovation includes a huge spa-like bathroom with travertine tile, heated floor, and a 6' x 7' roll in tile shower.
Shift Hours:
Friday 6am - 3pm
Saturday 6am - 3pm
Sunday 6am - 3pm
Duties:
Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch (NOC Shift does as much food prep as possible for you)
Showering residents
Helping residents with ADL's
General house cleaning & dusting
Medication Assistance
Participate in activities and exercises with residents
Responding quickly to call alarms
Re-position residents every 2 hours as needed
Requirements:
Experience is a Must
NAC/CNA/HCA
Nurse Delegation
Mental Health and Dementia Specialties
CPR/First Aid
Food Handlers
2 Step TB Screening (to be given within 3 days of being hired)
Be able to pass a Washington State background check and a drug test prior to employment
Provide 3 references
