Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour

Our ideal candidate is someone with a positive attitude, flexible schedule, and compassionate heart. Care giving experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have ALL required Washington DSHS certifications and training including: current First Aid and CPR certifications and an ACTIVE Washington NAC, HCA, or NAR credential. Initiation of a 2-part TB test is required within 3 days of employment as well as a State mandated background and fingerprint check.
Applicants must be 18 years of age and a citizen of the United States
Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:
Light housekeeping tasks
Assistance with Medication
Assists in meal preparation, resident eating, and related services
Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
Experience
Evidence of an interest in and ability to work with people.
Good grooming and personal hygiene.
Past employment indicates dependability, ability to follow directions, good judgment, and emotional maturity.
Willingness and ability to follow directions from supervision and training.
Ability to document daily activities in writing (English is required) and do simple math.
Ability to treat and care for individuals with disabilities and their property with dignity and respect
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
You must be able to provide care for up to six residents.
Previous Adult Family Home or other Long Term Care experience in an adult care setting is desirable. One year of experience is preferred but all candidates who are otherwise qualified will be considered.
