Jubilee House
Adult Family Home, Cheney, WA
Current position available: evening shift 3-11 Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Jubilee House is a licensed Washington state Adult Family Home. We have over 24 year's experience providing a loving and supportive home for residents with developmental disabilities. We currently have six people living with us aged 37 to 88: four women and two men. We only hire staff who have a love for care giving and a passion to make a difference in the lives of special people.
Caregiving duties include:
Assistance with all activities of daily living: bathing, hygiene, dressing, feeding and incontinent care.
Meals prepared and served, with assistance as needed.
Housekeeping mostly on awake 11-7 night shift; some light housekeeping during the day.
Nurse delegation for medication preparation and gastrostomy tube feeding.
Participation in home-centered and community integration activities.
Qualifications required include:
Current WA state license for CNA, HCA or NAR (with 2011 qualifying letter)
Age 18+, high school diploma/GED and English proficiency speaking, reading and writing
Good health and strength to perform all activities (no resident lifting)
Certificates of completion for mental health, dementia, and developmental disabilities specialty training
Nurse Delegation training certification
First Aid/CPR training current
WA state food handler certification
Current two-step TB test results
Able to pass WA state background check and Federal fingerprint check
Previous employer references for independence, reliability and great people skills

Salary based on training and experience
We will pay for required certification training and continuing ed classes.
We pay a training salary ($14.00) while taking classes and training with staff.
Pay increase DOE once working independently and annual or COLA pay increases
32+ hour staff qualify for medical and dental insurance
All staff receive sick leave as per WA State requirements on January 1, 2018
