Male Direct Care Support specialist needed for an adult young man with physical and intellectual challenges.
Seeking an individual with a good work ethic and will maintain a safe, happy and healthy lifestyle for him.
No experience necessary.
You will receive on the job training. You just need the desire to want to learn and follow instructions.
Individuals must pass a state background check.
Assistive daily living responsibilities include: assist with daily care.
Completing and maintaining daily logs.
Transporting him to community activities, such as going to the movies, mall, park, etc.
Engaging him with positive reinforcement and assisting him to become as independent with his basic living skills.
Qualifications Include:
Current CPR/first aid certification(2 hour course)
Assistance with medications certification(two 4 hour classes given at NIC training center)
Valid drivers license
$16.00 /hour days or overnights.
Hours needed are 9a-9p two days a week and 10p-9a one day a week. Plus, an occasional overnight or fill in for others as needed
