Legacy1864 Assisted Living and Adult Family Homes is seeking qualified Maintenance Manager to oversee the installation, repair and upkeep of facilities and property at 3 residential and one commercial location, including machines, mechanical systems, landscaping maintenance, buildings and other structures; keeping a safe environment for residents, guests, and employees. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure the facilities are tidy and functional.
Position Summary:
To ensure that the facility and its ground are visually pleasing, in good repair and properly maintained, as well as facility equipment being serviced and kept in good working order to ensure the smooth running of the facility. To innovate, research and present improvement projects that will enhance the facilities and operations, while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Maintenance Manager will delegate tasks to subordinates and ensure their proper completion within given timelines and coordinate with vendors from project completion, and is answerable to the Services Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee Landscaping and groundskeeping at all facilities, ensuring a superb exterior presentation at each location
- Implement weekly and monthly safety inspections and ensure safety policies and procedures are being followed
Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in Maintenance and Landscaping
- Must be proficient in all areas of maintenance including plumbing, electricity, painting, drywall, floor coverings, carpentry, locks, appliances, and safety equipment
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job
- Available for emergency call duties
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background check and drug testing
Desired Experience:
Position requires a self-starter who is able to take charge of responsibilities in an independent but collaborative manner, connects easily with others, is comfortable directing the work of others, has a flexible and personable approach. At minimum 16-24 hours per week, up to 32-40.
