Zipline Interactive, a Spokane-based digital agency, is seeking a talented and experienced graphic designer to join our team. At Zipline, we specialize in creating digital marketing solutions that generate leads for our clients. The majority of our clients are businesses that sell products and services to other businesses. To create successful digital marketing for these clients, our team must blend strategy, data analysis, research, creative design, and development into a single solution.
At Zipline, the position of Graphic Designer plays a key role in this process. Graphic Designers at Zipline Interactive are provided with a great deal of latitude in creating solutions for our clients. As a Graphic Designer, you will work to assess client needs, set creative strategy, and deliver modern, goal-focused design solutions for both web and print applications. We will rely on you to help diagnose and solve complex marketing problems.
To be successful in this position, excellent communication skills are required. You will be working collaboratively with our team as well as our clients. During the regular course of business, you will be expected to meet both internally and externally to present and explain your work. It is imperative that you are able to verbally convey the benefits and reasoning behind the work you produce.
Requirements:
A graphic design degree and/or equivalent work experience
Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
A firm understanding of print design and production
Interest in solving usability issues/conversion optimization problems
Ability to collaborate with team members and clients
Knowledge of current design trends
Things we would like to see:
Experience designing websites, landing pages, and mobile applications
Experience creating brand identities/logos
Ability to organize information simply and elegantly
Experience working with website content management systems like Wordpress
Proven ability to thumbnail, prototype, wireframe, and mockup solutions prior to creating your designs.
Experience providing creative direction to developers
