Novation is a metal finishing company that has been in business for 30 years. One of our longtime maintenance personnel is moving out on and we are looking for his replacement on the team. We are looking for someone with a very high mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Each project is a new challenge and requires a full toolbox of mechanical skills as well as creativity and Enginuity. We currently employ 94 people and 3 other maintenance personnel.
Some of the tasks associated with the job include
Repairing and installing DC rectifiers up to 50 Volts DC 2000 Amps
Installing and troubleshooting process control circuits
Installation and repair of pumps, blower motors, resistive heaters, and other equipment up to 480 Volts three
phase
Repair of large industrial ovens
Repair of single and three phase cranes and trolleys
Run conduit, pull wire, and install new circuits to panels
Repair and install 120 Volt lighting and ballasts
Other responsibilities of the position would include:
General facility maintenance
Modification and fabrication to equipment
Ordering parts needed for projects and keeping stock of frequently used items
Strong communication with operators and department heads
