Inland Imaging is currently recruiting for a Full Time Clerical Specialist position for our Holy Family & Northpointe Imaging Center locations. Provides high level of customer service by:
Greets and welcomes all patients and visitors
Ensures all patients are registered and "arrived"
Patients requiring assistance are provided assistance as needed
Keeps a clean work area to represent the professional image of Inland Imaging
Prepares paperwork for patient exams in advance, except add-ons, and give the paperwork to appropriate modality
Answer phones and assist callers
Initiates loans and generates reports as requested by referring provider offices
Burns patient exams and reports onto CD's to be given to patients and referring provider offices
Digitizes previous hard copy radiographic films to PACS system
Locates and obtains previous related films for upcoming appointments
Processes patient payments
Schedules walk-in patient exams
Rotates to other shifts and locations as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Education: High School Diploma/GED required
Experience: One year of clerical experience desired
Communication and interpersonal skills
Anatomy and medical terminology preferred
Medical office experience preferred
Understanding of all procedures to be read by radiologist preferred
Computer Skills: Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired: Outlook; Kronos; Imagecast; Stentor; Flowcast; Meditech; Web Portals
