Summary:
A growing equipment manufacturing company located in Newman Lake, WA is looking for a Field Service and Technical Support Technician to join the team. Successful candidates will render a variety of services to customers, vendors, and co-workers through application of knowledge of our organization, services, and products. Perfect candidates will pride themselves on professionalism and should be outgoing, personable, and detail oriented. The candidate must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience and past positions should involve working with customers via phone, email, and in person.
Description:
Inspection of assembled equipment, to ensure proper completion
Inspection of all operating parts to ensure proper operation within expected tolerances
Tune and troubleshoot equipment for proper operation
Interact with internal and external project managers during field projects
Clearly and professionally interact with customers, regarding status of commissioning, on a daily basis
Ability to determine tools and equipment required to perform scope of job
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, and assist in establishing preventative maintenance schedules with customers
Assemble, align, and install equipment as necessary
Receive and respond to customer support calls and address items necessary to assist customers on equipment in the field
Travel 50-70% time; both international and domestic.
Requirements:
Experience in automation, elector-mechanics, or engineering preferred. Associates degree or equivalent experience.
Candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
Candidates must be detail oriented, organized, efficient, and self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
Proficiency in MS Office applications including: Outlook, Word, and Excel
Proficiency in VB and .NET applications a plus
