West Valley School District is accepting applications for Assistant Bus Mechanic.
Qualifications:
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as an automotive or heavy truck mechanic, or full journeyman status as an automotive mechanic, or a minimum of four years applicable work experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Possess a valid State of Washington drivers license including a Class B CDL with a passenger endorsement.
ASE Certification (School Bus or Medium/Heavy Truck) preferred.
Maintain a current State of Washington School Bus Drivers Authorization.
Maintain a motor vehicle driving record acceptable to the districts insurance criteria.
Must be in good physical condition; some heavy lifting is required.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relations with other employees, management, and the public.
CDL and School Bus Drivers Authorization must be obtained within three (3) months of employment.
