Parsons Construction found its beginnings in July of 1981, when the company enthusiastically embraced the custom home, remodeling, and commercial market. Our first project was an addition to a residential home in the Spokane Valley. Since then, we've been able to build in numerous neighborhoods and developments throughout the Spokane and Idaho region, including Hayden Lake, Coeur d’Alene Lake, Spirit Lake, Bella Vista, Northwoods, The Ridge at Hangman and Highland Park, just to name a few.
High end custom home builder seeking a carpenter. Must have a minimum 7+ years of experience, have reliable transportation, possess own hand tools, and have a strong work ethic with attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: DOE

5 paid holidays per year
40 hours paid vacation per year after one year of employment
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Layout and construct footing/foundation
- Layout and construct wood framing
- Install windows and exterior doors
- Calculate and build stairs
- All aspects of finish carpentry, including hanging interior doors, casing, staircases and handrails
- Install a wide variety of siding products, including T&G cedar, metal panels, lap siding, etc.
- Build deck framing, install decking and handrails
- Install finish hardware for high end applications
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must possess own hand tools
- Must have the ability to lead and train if/when necessary
- This is a general construction position, which requires
o Lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying of heavy objects and construction materials
o Walking and standing for long periods of time
o Strenuous physical labor in an array of site and weather conditions
Key competencies:
- Have a solid understanding of footings/foundation, wood framing, siding, exterior doors and windows, and interior finish carpentry processes
- Expert use with common and applicable tools for each of the job phases listed above
- Proficient in reading and building off of architectural plans
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
