Job Description

As Customer Service Representative, you’ll respond timely and accurately to customer inquiries and process requests received through the phone system, email, web, or mail according to established standards with attention to style, tone, and manner of communication. You will respond to and help resolve inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and collections as outlined by the Customer Service Manager.

  • Identify customers’ needs quickly and take appropriate action to ensure those needs are met. Perform research and work cross functionally to escalate and resolve problems.
  • Effectively negotiate through customer complaints. You’ll have some discounting authority and will have the ability to make recommendations beyond authority.
  • Support projects required for servicing customers and Clean Earthbusiness.
  • Provide feedback to management on ways to increase efficiencies and the effectiveness of servicing customers’ needs.

Qualifications

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year of experience working as a CSR or Inside Sales Representative

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to diplomatically handle customers
  • Ability to remain organized in a high-volume work environment
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Access, Sales Force and PowerPoint
  • Ability to type 40 wpm+
  • General knowledge of credit tools in compliance with all applicable regulations
