Job Description

The Operations Supervisorwill work directly with the Operations Manager in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position is very hands-on and physically demanding while requiring organizational skills and route planning knowledge. There is an opportunity for advancement intoother Operational roles. Strategically supervise warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

  • Collaborate with operation management
  • Supervise the assisted loading and or unloading of Trucks
  • Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective as a company
  • Fleet management:including moving, auditing equipment, and monitoring thecleanliness of the fleet
  • Route Planning: Auditing of Equipment and Manifests
  • Assist with general dispatch duties as assigned including periodic delivery
  • Operate in a safe and efficient manner, abiding by all Health and Safety regulations.
  • Maintain good rapport with the entire workforce.

    Qualifications:

    • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
    • Thorough knowledge of Route Planning, Logistics and Fleet management
    • 1 year of prior delivery experience preferred
    • Proactive self-starter: with the ability to work independently
    • Positive attitude, assertive, effective, and professional
    • Dedicated; must possess good work ethics
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
