RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect for an enterprise client in a completely remote capacity that is accelerating business outcomes with comprehensive solutions from edge to cloud. This is a 100% remote position and would be a Direct Hire/Permanent Placement.

Duties Include:
In this role, the Cloud Security Architect will define cloud security strategic direction and requirements at platform level
Provides guidance to teams for general approaches to secure design and risk management
Review platform designs & architectures for security issues and concerns and participate in Cybersecurity reviews
Work directly with and take security direction from the Software and Data Platforms lead security architect to develop a unified security strategy and approach including such areas as proactive threat detection, security control enforcement and incident response
The Cloud Security Architect will lead investigations and corrective and protective actions in possible situations of cyber-attacks, including communication and actions with partners, third-parties, post-mortem sessions to capture learning and requirements that must be addressed to engineering teams

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience is desired; All applicants with applicable experience will be considered
Security Certification: CEH, GIAC or equivalent pen testing cert
Desired security certification: examples include OSCP, CISSP, GPEN
Experience with one or more major cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google cloud
Has participated in the design, implementation, and migration to a cloud environment
Understanding of Linux and Windows security best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Should have the ability to transfer complicated technical information to non-technical personnel
Understanding of CVSS v2 and v3, vulnerabilities, exploits, payloads, and evasions
Knowledge in reverse engineering and debugging application binaries with IDA Pro
Familiarity with tools such as Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, Tcpdump, Wireshark and Burp Suite
Proven ability to think out of the box and find vulnerabilities in software and hardware
