Summary:

The Business Analyst will function as the primary point of contact between Information Technology and internal lines of business. The ideal candidate will understand our client's Information Technology needs, translate those into structured requirements to enable story creation that feeds delivery teams operating in agile Scrum, Kanban, Agile, and traditional waterfall.

This position requires collaborating with a wide variety of technical and business stakeholders to deliver high quality product and process descriptions, business and functional requirements, testing, and assist in the development of business cases. Clear and thorough documentation of information is a key aspect of the role.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years professional experience working in or managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with enterprise-level heavy duty data integrations and corresponding API's, including integration with 3rd party vendors for enterprise to vendor API requests and responses.
  • Experience with full implementation cycles, from project start through the finish into a warranty support period.
  • Cloud experience important. Azure is a plus.
  • Expert in writing user stories.
  • Experience with credit or financial systems, including underwriting.
  • Experience with the Agile framework.
  • Experience defining and documenting Themes, Epics, and User Stories.
  • Experience prioritizing and managing backlogs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with a customer service orientation; ability to discuss technical topics with a non-technical audience.
  • Possess business acumen and have the ability to work closely with all levels of employees and management.
  • Experience with working with integrated Vendor solutions, managing vendor engagements is a plus.
