POSITION PURPOSEThe Quoting Expediter provides quality professional service that consistently meets or exceeds Company standards of excellence and customer expectations. In partnership with Truss Specialists, the position acts as primary point of contact for Home Depot Associates and HD Components vendor network during quoting process. Position is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding individual service quality goals and contributes to various related department goals.MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES40% - Process quotes with accurate pricing from the HD Components vendor network and provide quotes to Home Depot Associates within 2 hours after receipt20% - Assist Home Depot associates with quoting process and questions related to truss quotes and orders via phone and email10% - Follow up with HD Components vendor network to receive quotes back within stated SLA10% - Review requests for quotes, submit requests to HD Components vendor network for pricing, and escalates complex requests to Truss Specialists for proper handling10% - Effectively and routinely balance multiple customers and tasks10% - Meet or exceed scorecard requirements for productivity and qualityNATURE AND SCOPEThis position reports to the HDQC HD Components Supervisor.This position has 0 direct reports.ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTSEnvironment:Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionableTravel:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Additional Environmental Job Requirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Education Required:The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.Years of Relevant Work Experience: 0 yearsPhysical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
