(TCP review board required in TCP families)Responsibilities:Lead development of 3D&I Orthotics business model financials & support post-launch financial operations

Working with the Orthotics management team, evolve the current financial model as business grows and product portfolio expands

Ensure financial model comprehensively captures the projected P&L and value creation impact of the Orthotics business model and establishes well supported FY22 & beyond revenue, growth, OP, and capital investment targets

Support post-launch operational requirements of the business, including performance metrics, spend management, pricing/big deal analysis, competitive benchmarking, and accounting issue research

Consult on the development of new business models, e.g., subscription vs transactional, and ensure that the value creation & operational trade-offs are well understood by management

Develop value creation models & metrics to ensure the business makes value-creating decisions, e.g., Customer Lifetime Value modeling, Contribution Margin Analysis model, etc.

Consult on strategy development, including market segment attractiveness, international expansion options, product/solution portfolio expansion, organic vs inorganic development

Support establishment of clear strategic plans and financials (including inorganic when appropriate), manufacturing strategy, pricing strategies, and others as required

When inorganic options are evaluated, provide M&A leadership, including target identification & analysis, valuation modeling, negotiation support, integration planning & execution, and post-close measurement

Lead financial evaluation of 3D&I early-stage incubation portfolio

Working with the early-stage incubation management team, ensure that early-stage investments have high likelihood of longer-term value creation by confirming that:

Market opportunity is well understood & addressable

Target market is attractive

Competitive environment is well understood and HP is positioned to win

HP’s competitive advantage is well understood, scalable & defensible

HP’s product is unique, its value proposition can be effectively communicated, the business model can be executed & scaled

Create high-level, early-stage financial models that capture the projected P&L and value creation impact of the early-stage business model and establishes well supported FY22 & beyond revenue, growth, OP, and capital investment targets

Consult on the development of new business models, e.g., subscription vs transactional, and ensure that the value creation & operational trade-offs are well understood by management

Consult on strategy development, including market segment attractiveness, post-pilot launch options, product/solution portfolio expansion, organic vs inorganic development - including potential HP Tech Ventures equity investments

Support financial operational requirements for early-stage pilots

When equity investment or acquisition options are evaluated, provide financial leadership, including target identification & analysis, valuation modeling, negotiation support, integration planning & execution, and post-close measurement

Provide ongoing and ad-hoc analysis as required, e.g., MEC, flash, LTP

Ensure both management teams understand and comply with 3D&I’s portfolio incubation & milestone process

Desired Skills/BackgroundExperience in or demonstrated knowledge of Health Care market, including market trends, business models, competitive dynamics

Highly analytical, able to independently conduct rigorous, fact-based research and effectively communicate findings & recommendations

Extensive background in financial model development with an emphasis on value creation and value driver analysis

Includes experience with multiple business models, e.g., Transactional models, As A Service models, etc., and strong understanding of the strengths/weaknesses of each and the operational differences required for business model success

Experience with strategy development & execution, e.g., Target market identification, sizing, segmentation & growth, HP Value proposition development, Business model development, Competitive environment, HP competitive advantage

Experience in M&A, including target identification & strategic fit analysis, standalone & synergy valuation, due diligence, and integration planning & execution

Typically 15 to 20 years of experience as financial analyst

Strong potential to move into Manager/Director role
