Seeking a highly motivated, organized, analytical individual for our new position of Senior Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist. This individual will work closely with Property Managers, Vendors, Contractors and Staff to assure timely and accurate recording of Leasing Income and Vendor Payables for a vast number of multi-family properties throughout the local area.
Essential Duties include:
Daily posting of receivable and payable transactions for multitude of separate properties,
Finding and fixing accounting errors,
Handle daily coordination communication with staff, vendors, and tenants regarding accounting matters,
Review, analyze, and post payable invoices daily,
Complete Vendor check runs on scheduled basis throughout each month,
Be able to cross-train to directly related positions,
Able to correctly input large amounts of data both payables and receivables,
Ability to organize, file and retrieve documents as needed both manually and electronically
Excellent working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and Outlook,
Able to work with light supervision,
“Get the Job Done” attitude following through on tasks and deadlines,
Ability to organize data into spreadsheets,
Ability to perform administrative tasks,
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines,
Possess problem-solving abilities,
Be able to work seamlessly with fellow staff members,
Experience with Property Management preferred but not mandatory.
